The decorating industry has seen a boom in recent years, and the idea of decorating your home can help you get that extra bit of extra buzz that will add to your brand identity and make your brand stand out from the crowd.
You can do a lot to make your home feel unique and special, and we’ve got a whole series of posts dedicated to getting you started.
But what if you don’t have time for a whole bunch of tutorials?
In this article, we’ll look at how to make a simple cake decorating class for you, and then let you decide how you want to go about decorating the whole home.
We’ll start with the basics and work our way up to a more elaborate cake decorator.
The Basics: Decorating a cakeThe simplest cake decoring tutorial is to decorat your cake by covering it in cake decorations.
You don’t need any fancy cake decorators, just a small piece of paper, scissors, a cake stand, and a few sticks of butter.
You might have to use the stick for this one.
I prefer to use my cake stand.
You’ll need a wooden cake stand and a cake tray.
Make sure you get a big cake stand to be able to cover the whole cake.
Next, cut a circle that’s as wide as your cake stand is long.
We want to use a cake tester to check the size of the circle.
To do this, first cut a small square of paper with the tip of a knife.
Cut out the circle and then fold it over so that the paper has a flat surface on both sides.
Then, cut another small square out of the paper and fold it so that it’s about 1/4-inch wider than the circle you just cut.
Then fold that over as well, and you’ve got the finished cake.
Now we want to add the cake decorations, which are small, flat strips of paper that you’ll use to decorating.
To decorate, cut out a circle as wide and as tall as you want your cake to be.
We can then make the decorations by adding a strip of buttercream.
We cut it out as wide (1/4 inch) as the circle, then cut a thin strip from the centre and make a strip in the middle.
Then we add a strip or two of icing, using the icing strips as decoration.
Repeat with the other cake strip you’ve made, and so on until you have the whole thing.
Next up, we want a large cake taster to check that the cake is ready to go.
We will then use a piece of butter as the base.
Make a strip, cut the butter, and fold the butter into the cake.
Repeat for the other strips you made, so that they are about 1 inch thick.
Then we add the icing.
We use the icing to make the stripes, and repeat for the cake strips.
This is how the cake will look after the icing has been applied.
Finally, we add more icing to the top.
Now that we’ve added the icing, the cake can start to turn out.
We now want to make sure that the icing doesn’t come off in the centre.
Cut a piece about the size you’d use for a big, fluffy piece of cake and cut a piece that’s about the same size as the cake taker.
Then cut the cake in half so that you have one half of the cake on one side and the other half on the other.
Then repeat this process with the cake that you’ve just decorated.
This will make the cake look really good when it’s all finished.
Next step is to apply the icing!
First, apply the buttercream and icing to a large, flat piece of wax paper.
You may want to apply it with a bit of force, but it won’t hurt the cake any.
Then use the wax paper to apply a strip that’s half the length of the wax piece, and half the width of the strips.
Cut this strip, and apply it to the other side of the piece.
You should now have two strips of icing that are about the width you’d like your cake on.
Repeat the process for the next strip, until you’ve applied the icing on all four sides.
Now the cake should be completely decorated.
It should look like this, with the icing at the top and the cake pieces on the sides.
Now, if you’re feeling a bit creative, you can use a wooden spoon to scrape the cake into a cake bowl.
Once you’ve done this, place the bowl in the fridge for a few hours.
After that, pour the cake back into the bowl, and it should be ready to eat.
The icing will make it look a bit cakey when it is done.
Now you can decorate the whole house with the decorations!
You can use the cake as decoration for the kitchen, or use it as decoration on the walls, ceilings, or
