A new sale on Christmas decorations is taking place in India, with online stores selling up to 10,000 different decorations in a single day.
According to Indian consumerist site Tech Times, the online auction platform has launched a new sale called the “Christmas Sale”.
The website states that the sale is open on January 12.
This is the second sale in a week, as a new auction is happening on February 7, as well.
The sale includes over 10,500 different items ranging from Christmas decor and gifts to new gifts for family members.
The website notes that all the items are on sale until December 30.
It is the first time that a sale on Indian Christmas decorations has been launched.
The Indian government had previously banned the sale of Christmas decorations after the 2013 riots in Mumbai, in which at least 70 people were killed.
The sale will be running from February 12 to January 10.
A new online store called Vans has also launched a similar Christmas sale, which has a limit of only 10,999 items per day.
